Youth deserve CARE.
The CARE Model is for adults in a position of professional authority and/or trust, such as a teacher, administrative, social worker. It is a support-first approach to responding to harm developed with social workers, educators, students, parents and caregivers. You can learn about the model at this link.

Our free BRAVE Facilitator Guide and slides give you everything you need to teach young people how to respond to a disclosure with care. The lesson plans were developed by educators, staff, administrators, researchers and students.

Our team has years of experience in supporting schools and educators with addressing and preventing sexual assault and harrassment with care, compassion and accountability. We offer specialized training for professional development days and share practical, trauma-informed strategies and tools that cultivate violence-free learning environments. We are launching a working group for teachers, principals, school-based social workers, counsellors, child and youth care workers on a care-focused tool for responding to student disclosures of sexual harassment or assault. The tool we are developing will help school boards in meeting their protocol requirements mandated by PPM 166 and Erin’s Law. Register with us to participate.
